This turn of the century ranch house (The Hideout) was built in 1894 and has multiple historic barns, a large deck for relaxing and a barbecue area with seating for large groups. Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains are a backdrop for this cattle and horse ranch. The Hidden Cherry Ranch is in the East Cherry Creek Valley centrally located between Denver and Colorado Springs. The Hidden Cherry Ranch offers you both the private country setting to get away from it all with a convenient location close to local attractions.

The Hidden Cherry Ranch is located north of Colorado Springs and within a short drive to the United States Air Force Academy for visiting your Cadets. It is conveniently located to 2 major wedding venues in the area; the Flying Horse Ranch and a short drive to Spruce Mountain Ranch. The Hidden Cherry Ranch is a great place to accommodate families who are attending weddings or functions at either venue.

If you decide to venture from the ranch, the surrounding areas of Denver and Colorado Springs have fun activities that await you. Travel into Denver and see an outside concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheater. You can visit the Denver Art Museum, Children's Museum, Aquarium or the Denver Zoo. Take in your favorite sporting event with four professional teams to choose from, The Denver Bronco's, The Rockies, The Denver Nuggets and The Avalanche. Colorado Springs has the beautiful Garden of the Gods Park or take the Cog Railway to the top of the majestic Pikes Peak. Don't forget to visit the U.S. Olympic Training Center and The Air Force Academy.

For the outdoor enthusiasts, there are plenty of activities such as hiking, white water rafting, zip lining, and skiing two hours west with a choice of multiple ski resorts.

We stayed at the ranch with our 5 grandchildren (ages 7 to 12). They loved the ranch! The owners and the ranch managers made it such a memorable experience from providing a hay ride behind an antique tractor to letting the kids pet the horses. The farm house is beautifully decorated with modern appliances and comfortable furnishings. We could have spent the whole week onsite but we also wanted to take the kids to Colorado Springs where we went for a horseback ride, took the Cog Rail up to Pike's Peak, and had lunch at Rosie's Cafe, an old timey restaurant in Monument, just a short trip from the ranch. The owners David and Val made us feel so welcome and Bill and Sheri, the ranch managers, showed the kids around and introduced them to the farm animals, including new-born kittens. We will definitely return! Thanks for the great time!

Old farmhouse with all you can asked for. Great kitchen and 4 nice bedrooms. Great front deck to enjoy meals or just read a book. David and ranch managers were always willing to help. If you are coming with horses for a competition at the Colorado Horse Park, this beats a stall and hotel any day of the week and it is only an easy 30 minute drive away. We will be back.

We were in Larkspur for our Granddaughter's wedding. We had a great stay at the Ranch, It was perfect for our Family including Grand kids. The huge yard was great for horse shoe and fun for the kids. The home was very comfortable with so much character. Kitchen very well equipped. After driving into Denver and dealing with rush hour traffic it is so nice to sit out on the large deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the peace and quiet. Thanks David for your hospitality. It was so good to meet you.

We had a big wedding at the nearby Flying Horse Ranch and some of our family stayed here for the weekend. It was a lovely, peaceful and comfortable place. The property owner and the on-site property managers could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. They even made room for our horses who would not have been able to be a part of the wedding without having a place to keep them for the weekend. A wonderful place for a family gathering.

The Hidden Cherry Ranch is a beautiful old farm house with lots of charm. The owners, David and Valerie were wonderful and very accomodating. The area is beautiful with horses on the property, and views of the mountains, farms, fields and ponds. We rented it for the Air Force Academy graduation. It is about 20 miles north of the academy, so, you have to plan ahead for travel, but it's a great private spot for friends and family. We had 5 Octogenarians in our group and the fact that there are 2 master suites on the first floor was a huge plus. The decor is a little dated (the house is over 100 years old) but the appliances are all top notch and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our family vacation to Hidden Cherry Ranch. The hospitality and service was exceptional. The house is well set up, very accommodating, and comfortable with all of the amenities; yet it still retains a rustic appeal. The rural setting is spectacular - very peaceful and quiet. But it is also close enough for a short trip to Colorado Springs to take in activities and see the sights. We stayed three nights and enjoyed every minute. We definitely hope to be back!

David and Valerie (&Bill) all of you were so accommodating, friendly and answered every question we had (we had a lot!) The Farmhouse and amenities were more than expected, had everything we needed to hold a couple of family gatherings. All we had to do basically was buy the food. There was plenty of room for everyone, even in the house on Friday evening due to rain, all 20 of us found a spot to eat, drink, chat and be MERRY. The beds were so comfortable and no lack of bath towels and linens, and bathroom necessities. We picked a great location for our Cousin Reunion and would love to come back again sometime. Everyone just adored the venue. Thank you all so much for making us feel pampered but part of the farm too!

The property was great. Quiet and peaceful slice to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great historic home with Modern Amenities. The home owner was very accommodating. My Grandaughter loved going out to see the horses. We had a great relaxing time. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to relax and enjoy some quiet time in the Colorado Farmland.

The very quiet farm home has a great balance of current appliances and TVs, while maintaining its rustic charm. It served as a needed restorative home base with all the activities associated with graduation week. My daughter and her friends especially loved petting the horses.

Well appointed, plenty of room to spread out, beautiful peaceful setting, great for star gazing, large outside patio for large family meal events with BBQ, plenty of trails for hikes, and even friendly horses to pet. Wonderful experience.
