We had a great time in Inwood, NY! Great apartment. Close to subway line. Nice diverse neighbourhood. Close to good restaurants and night life. We really enjoyed ourselves. Victoria is also very kind and thoughtful. Thanks again, Stéphanie and family

We can in for a heart procedure by brother was having at Columbia University Medical Center. We were less than 10 mins for hospital ! Apartment is huge for NYC ... and was very well taken care of. Very clean and had anything you wanted or needed. Sub station A right outside door. Apartment building in safe neighborhood. Do bring ear plugs. Street noise at night is bad but that is my only complaint! Excellent property

PROS: large apt, elevator, very well equipped with everything you need and then some. Air conditioner in each room. Wonderful water filter with very hot and cold water, Air purifiers. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Tv in every room and/or DVD player, place to laundry, comfortable beds, large bedrooms, 2 bthrooms. Very clean. Grocery store open 24 hours across the street, UPS, McDonalds, BoA, across the street. Starbucks, pizza and deli right below apt complex, great bakeries and many nice restaurants within walking distance. Subway trains right below complex. CONS: Noisy with traffic and sirens and people through the night. But then again that’s New York, the city that never sleeps. The air conditioner can block of a lot of the noise. But if you need extreme quietness, faugetaboudit, it’s not for you. We stayed one week and in spite of the noise we liked the convenience of having everything near. Plus, the owners neighbor took us to airport which was great.

We spent 5 days while attending our son's wedding. The apartment is everything that was pictured. It is beautifully decorated and appointed. It accommodated the six of us comfortably. The kitchen had everything that was needed and included coffee, spices and condiments. Victoria was very helpful, a pleasure to work with and responded very promptly. The location was close to the A train, restaraunts and there is a supermarket across the street. Weekends are noisy but earplugs (supplied) work. Would certainly stay again.

The apartment is as presented in the photos, not luxurious, but very comfortable. The location is great with access to the subway right below the building. There are food stores, liquor stores and restaurants very close by. The building is clean, well maintained and offers a laundry room with good commercial quality equipment. All in all, a perfect spot for our group of five. Victoria was very helpful with information, both written down in a binder she left for us and in person when she met us on arrival. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to New York.

I am so glad we found this wonderful apartment for our group of 8! For a NYC apartment it was surprisingly roomy and comfortable giving us privacy as each couple had own room for sleeping. We shared two fully equipped bathrooms, kitchen and living area. Victoria seemed to think of everything one might need including ear plugs, umbrellas, even kitchen spices. Greatly appreciated having an air conditioner in each room as well. It really is as nice as described in other reviews. Loved having the subway so handy—just a few minutes walk on same block. Also appreciated the pizza shop and Starbucks so close. Victoria, the owner, did an excellent job communicating and accommodating our requests. As previously mentioned in a review, the only drawback is its location near a busy intersection. The first night I had a hard time sleeping until I realized there was a white noise machine in room that helped block out the street noise. I would highly recommend this rental especially if you have a large group.

This is an excellent apartment in a friendly and safe neighborhood with many amenities in the same block including several restaurants, Starbucks, and a very good deli. 24-7 full size market just across the street. Metro entrance to the main A line is only 100 ft from entrance to apartment building. It's about a 30 minute metro ride to midtown with one transfer from express (A line) to local (B or C line) for many tourist sites. Apartment is clean, very well equipped with two full Bathrooms and three bedrooms, and exceptionally spacious. Window a/c in all rooms. On 5th floor with good, large elevator. Apartment complex is very well maintained with a pleasant, well groomed courtyard, excellent laundry facilities and secure building entrance. Three bedrooms and two sitting rooms all exceptionally large size, especially for NYC. Ample room for 6, 7 or even 8 people and for young children to play. Walking distance to the Cloisters art and sculpture museum owned and operated by the Metropolitan Museum and not to be missed. Apartment owner is gracious and exceptionally responsive and helpful. The written information is very clear and complete. This place is exactly as advertised and I recommend it. Henry A June 2017

3 bedrooms a office and two baths plus a living room and fully equipped kitchen. To add to this the subway is downstairs and a row of restaurants is behind the building. We had a great time in NYC. The rental felt like home and gave us a sense of living in the city. Would highly recommend. Only caveat is that it is a vibrant neighborhood so lots of road and people noise all night long.

Location was great. Apartment was big and roomy. She supplied every amenity you could possibly need or want. Only flaw is that because of the major intersection it was too loud at night. Also, the AC in the main room could have been colder, but in her defense it was in the high 80's to low 90's during our stay. Bedrooms AC's were freezing. So that was good.

We are a family of 6 adults from Denmark who had a great 7-days vacation in this great apartment. Victoria is a wonderful host and we had the feeling that we were taking care of. Victoria met us in the apartment when we arrived and she contacted us during the week to catch up if everything was okay. We have had a great conversation since last year where we decided to go to NYC without exact knowing the dates for our visit. Victoria has been very helpful all the way. The apartment is large and cozy and everything is there. Lots of towels and any needs – umbrellas, hair-things, kitchenware, backpacks etc The apartment is on 5th floor and the subway is in the basement. Very convenient. We will highly recommend this place to stay to everyone who appreciate to have a base like home.
