Map Description

The North Coast of California is noted for its rugged beauty, redwoods and artists communities. Gualala is a small village in southern Mendocino County on this coast just north of the famed 10 miles of Sea Ranch. Wineries are prevalent as well as picturesque pocket beaches amid rocky cliffs and "sea stacks" in the ocean. Many delightful day trips are available from our SeaWatch vacation home that include artists galleries, charming villages, wildlife viewing, kayaking, winery visits, redwoods and gorgeous site seeing. The village of Mendocino itself is a famed destination for Victorian architecture, "foodie" shopping, fine art galleries plus magnificent seaside views just an hours drive. Pt. Arena lighthouse and village are just 30 minutes away.

Best of all guests often observe whales migrating up and down the coast, some even seein their spouts from our windows.

Found the townhouse to be as advertised. We found the home to be in a perfect location to enjoy the parks, trails and the awesome coastline views. And, yes we saw the whales. The townhouse was furnished so comfortable and cozy. The owner even followed up during our stay to ensure all was well.

This town home is nicely furnished and appointed with a good ocean view from the deck, kitchen, dining and living rooms. The view is across Hwy 1 and over roof tops, but clearly sees a stretch of beach with breaking waves and the rocky Gualala Point. The surf is clearly heard at night -very enjoyable. The little town of Gualala has good restaurant choices and two large markets. There's a lot of local sites and activities to choose from. A great Califonia north-coast location. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful place, great location, comfortable furnitures, ocean view and amazing hospitality! If you want to unplug yourself from digital life, the best way to do is - gather friends, drive away from the city, and spend time watching ocean! And one more thing, Gary's movie collection is wonderful!

Review: 3/27/18 Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We loved exploring, enjoyed the Gualala Arts Center and the Point Arena Lighthouse and the shops at Cypress Village. We saw a bunch of whales playing in the water right off the breaking waves! -and lots of seals. We used this as our “babymoon while waiting for baby #2 and our 2 yr. Old also loved exploring. Just what we needed!
