Captain's Hill Inn - Ketchikan, 4 Bedroom, Downtown with Harbor View

Captain's Hill Inn is a four bedroom, two bath duplex perched on the hillside above Ketchikan's busy harbor. The windows of the cottage are situated so that you will be captivated by the view from nearly every room.

The location is perfect! It is in a popular residential area of town along Water Street within close walking distance to the heart of downtown but back away from the hectic cruise ship traffic. On the main floor there is a third bedroom with a king bed that can be made up as 2 twin beds and a small fourth bedroom off of the living room with a twin bed. For added sleeping space there is a sofa bed in the living room. The house can comfortably sleep 8 or 9 people.

On the lower floor of this duplex is the Bay View Suite, (which can be rented separately) a cozy one bedroom apartment that also have a nice view of the harbor. This one bedroom suite has a kitchen, living room and bathroom. The bedroom has a king size bed that can be made up as two twin beds.

One of our best ever family vacations. We had 3 couples and 4 children. The house is well cared for and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We didn't need to rent a car because it was a quick walk into town and taxis are readily available. Went fishing with the owner's brother, Jim and had a great time. I think fishing with him was the highlight of the whole trip.

Going to Alaska was a dream come true. We are very glad we picked Ketchikan. We stayed for a full week and had plenty to do. My husband & I invited our daughter & SIL along with the new baby and we all had a great time. The house was big and we had plenty of space to stretch out. I loved the kitchen and it had everything i needed. This was our first vacation rental. It made our stay with a small baby so much better than staying in a hotel. The owners were very nice and brought us a portable bed for the baby then stayed and chatted for awhile, a very sweet couple.
